After college, John taught high school, but soon decided to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer. He joined the force in Prairie Village, Kansas and quickly promoted through the ranks completing his last nine years in the department as a captain. From there, John became Chief of Police in Mountain Home, Idaho. 

 

After 25+ years in law enforcement, he retired and moved to Arizona.  As a long-time friend of Randy Rondberg and father to Jason Walter (also an agent in the Sun City office), John found Nation’s First Financial to be a good fit.
